I must admit that I am beginning to get a bit bored with my local flying area. I do still enjoy a leisurely hop around the patch, but I think I am ready to explore new territory.
Los Banos is a 50 mile flight by ultralight from Hollister. I was looking at a sectional and realized that it is a gateway to the central valley. There are many central valley airports within range of Los Banos.....I am looking forward to exploring this new territory.
For the trip to Los Banos I follow Hwy 152 through Pacheco Pass. Here are some of the highlights from a flight I made recently:
